The substrate should be clean, load-bearing, compact, even and degreased. Loose grains and impurities as well as poorly bonded coatings of old emulsion paints must be thoroughly removed.
Any irregularities and cavities should be supplemented with appropriate leveling mortars (BUDOMONT ZT-620, BUDOMONT ZS640).
Surfaces infected with fungi and algae must be disinfected with ALGHESIL algae and fungus remover.
In the case of new cement plasters, a minimum two-week seasoning period should be maintained.
Priming
24 hours before applying the plaster mass, the substrate should be primed with the TESORO GRUNT or MULTI GRUNT primer.
Application
Apply the plaster to the thickness of the grain with a stainless steel trowel. The appropriate thickness of the plaster is obtained by several times using a steel trowel.
Immediately trowel the surface prepared in this way with a plastic trowel until the desired texture is obtained.
Plaster with a full structure is rubbed with circular movements of the trowel, while plaster with a scratched structure - with longitudinal movements. It is recommended to work at a temperature of 5 to 25°C. Do not use on sunny surfaces and in rainy weather.
Thinning
The product is ready to use. If necessary, dilute with water in an amount not exceeding 1%. Too much dilution may cause a reduction in hiding power, which results in the appearance of discoloration.
Drying up
At a temperature of 20°C and relative air humidity of 55%, the drying time of the coating is approx. 24 hours.
Complete hardening occurs after approx. 48 hours.
Low temperature and increased air humidity extend the drying time, even by several days.
Until it is completely dry, protect the expedition against precipitation. Clean with water immediately after use.
