Large articulated trowel with rubber sponge and stick holder 390x190 mm

A large COMENSAL tile trowel on an aluminum frame with a handle for a stick and a characteristic orange rubber sponge. Meant for:

wet rubbing of plasters

cleaning large surfaces and hard-to-reach places such as ceilings

It has a porous structure. It is elastic and "rubbery" to the touch. It retains water well and thoroughly removes dirt. Developed for effective and comfortable use during many hours of work.

Tested and recommended in the construction community.

Frame:

The base is made of thick aluminum, which makes it light, but at the same time durable and rigid. It would take a lot of effort to deform it.

Thick flat bars in which the movable rod is embedded are permanently connected to the base with screws. Thanks to this, the structure is stable and the mechanism is reliable.

The steel stick holder and the rod have been covered with a layer of zinc to protect against corrosion. The handle with an internal diameter of 22mm and a height of 63mm is used to attach the stick.

The massive sleeve has an internal thick thread on a length of 15 mm. This ensures proper connection of the elements. It also allows you to unscrew the stick after finishing work without having to pull it out of the sleeve - the handle.

The aluminum base has been precisely bonded to the backing with glue.

Thanks to its porous structure, it effectively wipes and collects dirt.

It is easy to rinse and imprint.

Due to the size and construction, it is irreplaceable in work on large surfaces and hard-to-reach areas (ceilings, nooks and crannies)

Used in the process of wet troweling of plasters and milking of gypsum plasters.

Complementarity:

After the sponge is used up, it is possible to replace the foundation with a new one. To do this, cut off the used sponge with a knife, get rid of the remnants of the old material left on the trowel and glue the new underlay with glue - available at another auction.
