- NEXLER PJ PYE G200 S40 previously NEXLER PJ G40
Highly modified SBS weldable underlay felt for multi-layer roofing as a base layer, for single-layer anti-moisture insulation of buildings (type A) and for waterproofing of underground parts (type T).
Designed to be fixed by welding or mechanically.
The NEXLER PJ PYE G200 S40 roofing felt is intended for waterproofing as a base layer in multi-layer roofing.
It is also recommended for anti-moisture or anti-water insulation of underground elements (type A and T), for insulation of balconies, for multi-layer insulation of terraces.
Permissible inclination of the roof slope from 1%.

How to use:
The NEXLER PJ PYE G200 S40 roofing felt should be fixed by welding to a primed concrete or galvanized sheet substrate, or to a previously fixed asphalt underlayment.
The roofing felt can also be welded to thermal insulation sandwich panels. The substrate should be mechanically strong, without loose impurities, greasy stains or water.
Before welding the NEXLER PJ PYE G200 S40 roofing felt, it is recommended to prime the concrete substrate with solvent-based asphalt agents, e.g. NEXLER Penetrator or water-based asphalt preparations, e.g. NEXLER BITFLEX PRIMER.
As a result of heating both the substrate and the underside of the roofing felt with a burner, the protective thin plastic film melts, the asphalt melts and the roofing felt evenly unrolled sticks to the substrate.
NEXLER PJ PYE G200 S40 can also be mechanically fixed with or without a layer of thermal insulation to a concrete, wooden or sheet metal substrate.
Then the roofing felt is fixed with mechanical fasteners on the edge of the web, and then it is welded at the overlaps. When using mechanical fastening of the underlayment felt and thermal insulation boards to the substrate, it is recommended to lay the roofing felt in an inverted position, i.e. with the underside, covered with microfoil, upwards, which facilitates gluing the top covering with the roofing felt.
The roofing felt can be attached to the primed substrate by welding it with the top or bottom side over the entire surface using a torch.
The top side of the roofing felt, with fine sprinkles, is adapted to the use of cold or hot bitumen adhesives for gluing thermal insulation boards.
The overlap of roofing felt with a width of min. 8 cm along the roofing felt web and an overlap of min. 12 cm at the connection perpendicular to the length of the roofing felt web.
The roofing felt can be installed at ambient temperatures above 0°C. The temperature requirement applies to the time of day and night. In lowered ambient temperatures, the roofing felt NEXLER PJ PYE G200 S40 should be stored for 24 hours before use. at temperatures not lower than +18°C.
Substrate preparation and roofing felt installation should be carried out in accordance with the rules described in the NEXER Insulation Systems.
